Volunteer Committee Descriptions
Volunteer Management Committee
Our committee mandate is to provide members with meaningful volunteer opportunities within the Society and to reward them for their service. We wish to generate a steady supply of volunteers and volunteer opportunities that will maintain excitement and/or rejuvenate present CSPG Committees.
Under the guidance of the CSPG Executive - the strategy of the Volunteer Management Committee (VMC) is as follows:
- Help identify committee volunteer requirements / needs
- Communicate volunteer opportunities to membership
- Proactively recruit enthusiastic volunteers on a continual basis
- Fill voids by matching volunteer interests and skills to committee needs
- Orient volunteers about the CSPG
- Recognize and award CSPG volunteers
