19TH Annual Mixed Golf Tournament

Welcome to the CSPG 19th Annual Mixed Golf Tournament!

This year's tournament will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Lynx Ridge Golf Course in the north west of Calgary. The event's date has changed from the normal Friday to a Thursday, and we also have a change in venue. Once again, our committee includes the following: Penny Christensen, Carter Clarkson, Norm Hopkins, Kim MacLean, Alyssa Middleton, Brenda Pearson, Dick Willott and Hugh Wishart; these people will bring together a first class tournament for all participants.

The CSPG Mixed Golf Tournament is a four person best-ball tournament with an 8:00 am shotgun start. Golfers' average scores/handicaps are used to create balanced teams so everyone has a chance to contribute. The CSPG Mixed Golf Tournament is a social tournament intended for fun and is an opportunity to network and socialize with your colleagues and peers from industry, and provides mix and meet opportunities for geoscientists, industry and consultants. We look forward to the return of our sponsors of this fun event, and will continue our support for the CSPG Trust "Geoscientists for the Future" fundraising.

Entry deadline for the tournament will be Friday, August 1, with non-members accepted in date priority until the tournament is filled. Questions about registration can be directed to Brenda Pearson at 206-3339 or bpearson@birchcliffenergy.com.

This year we are using the on-line registration services of Events Online to collect the registration information and charge members and guests the registration fees. As tournament chairs, we are completely satisfied that Events Online will provide a safe and secure area for registration and event payment. Your information will not be sold or distributed to anyone by using the registration site.
