Registration / Cancellation Policies and Procedures
Please review the our policies before continuing to registration:
Payment:

- Field Trip - Upon the CSPG receiving a person's completed registration form and full payment for a Field Trip, a person is considered partially registered. The CSPG will send the person a Confirmation Receipt, Waiver, Emergency Contact form and Driver Safety sheet within five (5) business days.
- To be considered fully registered, a person must return the Waiver, Emergency Contact form, and Driver Safety sheet to the CSPG office within ten (10) business days of receipt of these forms. If the person does not meet these requirements prior to the Field Trip start date, they will not be permitted to attend the Field Trip and a Refund will not be given.
- Short Course - Upon the CSPG receiving a person's completed registration form and full payment for a Short Course, a person is considered fully registered. The CSPG will send the person a Confirmation Receipt within five (5) business days.
- An 'Earlybird' registration discount is applicable for paid registrations by the stated Earlybird deadline.
Transfers:
- Transfers (transferring your registration to another participant instead) are allowed up to one (1) month prior to the start date of the Short Course/Field Trip at no additional fee, if provided to the CSPG office in writing via fax or mail.
- An administration fee of $50 will be charged for transfers of Short Course and Field Trip registrations if less than one (1) month prior to the event's date. For USA and International Short Courses/Field Trips the administration fee is $200.
Cancellations:
i. Cancellation
by registrant:
All Cancellations or Amendments to registrations must be received
in writing via fax or mail. Phone requests will not be accepted.
The Cancellation must be received in the CSPG Office by 4:00 pm (end
of business day).
- Cancellation must be received in writing to the CSPG office at least six (6) weeks in advance of the scheduled event to receive a full refund of the registration fee.
- 50% of the registration fee will be reimbursed for cancellations within six (6) weeks of the scheduled event.
- No refunds will be administered within two (2) weeks of the scheduled event.
- For USA and International Short Courses/Field Trips, no refunds will be administered within one month (30 or 31 days) of the scheduled event.
- Exception – compassionate reasons.
ii. Cancellation by CSPG (i.e. a fieldtrip cancellation due to weather):
- The CSPG will attempt to reschedule when possible. If a registrant cannot attend on the rescheduled date, the registration fee will be refunded.
- Consent from registrant is required to transfer registration fees to alternate scheduled dates.
iii. Cancellation by CSPG due to low enrollment
- The CSPG reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment up to one (1) week prior to the scheduled event.
- Paid registrants will be completely refunded the registration fee.
